Friends of Booterstown

 

Friends of Booterstown was formed in April 2006. Its membership of comprised of people concerned about the immense development pressures around Dublin and their implications for the remaining natural heritage and in particular for the future of the Booterstown Nature Reserve.
The objectives of the Nature Reserve include:

  • Informing the community about developments at the reserve.
  • Organizing help with ongoing conservation initiatives.
  • Lobbying effectively on issues concerning the Reserve.
  • Ensuring that the Reserve environment is fully enjoyed by all.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the special relationship between the Reserve and the Dublin Bay Special Protection Area.
